After downloading DVDRipOMatic-0.95 and X Rip studio it
wont open, it sayd "which program do i want to choose to
open it with but i dont know. My friend said i made need a
extracting program to help open it with and another
friend said check the letters and number at end of
program name, on dvd rip o matic program which
are .tar.bz2 and i checked on google and said they meant
compressed files. I have always used DVD shrink on my PC
but this just doesnt seem as easy. Please HELP

DVDRipOMatic-0.95isn't a Mac program. It's for Windows.
Go through the programs here to find what you need for a
Mac;

I always use aimersfot dvd ripper for mac, it can easily rip dvd with quite good quality, and the basic edting function is also very useful, that's very good for me, you can free download it for a try:
