Hi,

I bought a second hand powerbook g3
250 with a dvd drive. It has OS 9.0
installed

When I try to play a DVD, the system pops
up an error message asking for a PC
Card for the dvd player to work.

Is there a way (software, patch, etc.) I can
play a DVD without having to buy this PC
card?,

Many thanks!

Augusto

Yes, you have to have the PC card.

By the way, you might do yourself a favor - run
software update on your PowerBook until there are
no more updates. You should be at OS 9.2.2, ideally.
