HELP!
I have just switched to DSL but have had
to do it running my old mac system 9 OS.
I usually use system X but the driver on
the install disc wasn't compatible. Does
anyone know how or where I can get a
driver for system OS X. My dsl modem is
a westell wirespeed.

All / any help very much appreciated. Ta.

OS X has a built-in PPPoE driver, so if your modem hooks up via Ethernet to your Mac, you should be OK.

If it uses the USB connection, well, OS X might have to take a back seat to OS 9 for now...

Many thanks,

Unfortunately I am using a USB
connection so until OS X is catered for I
will have to settle for OS 9!

Thanks again all.

Don't use USB. USB for anything, DSL or cable just sucks. Use ethernet if you have it. If not, GET IT. It's a bit faster and tons more reliable. Plus there's no drivers needed. It's all built in. They should never have put USB as an option for dsl/cable modems. It's a nightmare, I deal with em everyday.
