is there anybody who can help we with a big problem with my laserjet printer. i´ve just bought an USB-Adapter for my Epson-printer, but i want to use it with my HP 5L, too.
i can´t find a driver.........
i hope to get an answer....

Not gonna happen. The 5L doesn't work with Macs in the first place, and getting it to work with a USB port is going to be doubly difficult. If it worked on the serial port, you have an outside chance of using something like Strydent's PowerPrint to get it working, but AFAIK PowerPrint doesn't work over USB.
p

Belkin has some pcl drivers,
Their software suite is called
MacJetI've been using my hp laserjet 5l
with my mac for 2 years, but since I
upgraded past 9.04 it hasn't worked.you can buy the software from
cai
unfortunately the people who made the
software were bought out,
then that company was also bought out
by sw2000but it is possible if you get your hands on
the belkin software, costs 50$ i think

i had the same problem with the belkin software for
my laserjet 5L. after upgrading to OS 9.2 it stopped
working.i'm still trying madly to figure out how to get my
printer working again. any suggestions?

I used my Laserjet 5L under Mac OS
9.04, 9.1 and 9.2. I bought the Belkin
USB-Parallel adapter and the MacJet
software worked all the time! You have to
reinstall the software every time you
upgrade your OS... and also remember
that you have to select the printer in the
Chooser. Good luck! Now I'm looking for a OS X driver...
