I cannot seem to download anything from
websites. when I click on the download
option, the page just refreshes without
doing anything. I have no problem
downloading updates from already
installed software e.g. Norton Antivirus. Is
there anyone who can help me please?

Try control clicking on the link then choosing download from location
Also make sure download manager is open so you can see whats happening
If not, try another browser
