I seem to be having trouble downloading email attachments. my email account says it will send and receive attachments up to 10mb. I have succesfully been able to send and receive smaller files around 1-2mb but the larger 6-9mb files i have tried will load and i can send them but when i receive them i have not been able to succesfully download. I am wondering if this has something to do with my browser. I currently have IE 5.2.3 which is the latest version you can run on a mac.

just out of curiosity whay are you using ie (internet exploer) that is a seroiusly outdated version and one lacking in modern support you would be better off using safari or opera both of wich have repeatedly been benchmarked as the fastest browsers (not counting text based browsers like lynx)
now to your actual question does it give you any kind or error or just give up ???
do you have a firewall etc
if you can provide a little more background info someone might be able to help
also try it through safari or opera (another browser) that will tell you if its a browser issue or not..
if your other browsers bomb go to a friends computer or the library and see if it can be done there (tells you if its your system or the mail carier
