apple site but then i put it into trash without uninstalling
now when i try to download anything else i am getting
this message
The Speed Download application could not be found

Either launch it manually, or if you have deleted it, remove
the following files:

~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/SpeedDownload Browser
Plugin.plugin
~/Library/Contextual Menu Items/SpeedDownload
CMM.plugin
~/Library/InputManagers/SpeedDownload Enhancer

help me to find these items and remove.

~/ means your Home folder. In the Finder, navigate to your
Home folder. Then open the Library folder, and proceed from
there.

Alternatively:

- In the Finder, Choose "Go To Folder" from the "Go" menu.
Or use keyboard shortcut CMD+SHIFT+G

- Paste in the file path (CMD+C and then CMD+V) (such as ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/SpeedDownload Browser
Plugin.plugin)

If you have any problems, just ask.

hi there,

my problem is also related to speed download removal. I removed it using AppZapper. Now every time I try to download something, my firefox opens a blank page and can't start the download. It looks it is trying, but it just stops there....

Normally, I expect it brings up the download window and starts downloading right after clicking the download button...but now it just does not happen.

Anyone knows what might have caused this? Any permission or path may have been changed during the removal??

Thanks,
Stanley
