Comment:

I have several DIVX movies on my hard drive and I can view them on my Mac using 'Video LAN Client'. How do I burn these movies on a DVD (using my Superdrive) so that I can view them on a regular DVD player.

I would appreciate any help with this problem, I cannot afford expensive software so a cheap (or even free) solution is preferble. I do own iDVD 2, iMovie 2 and Toast 5.2, if any of these are useful in the solution.

You need to convert them to something iDVD can use for starters. Look on macupdate or versiontracker (.com) for conversion tools.
