Disk Copy checksum errors

I am trying to create a generic image file for our lab computers using Disk copy. Even though the image creates fine and the checksum verifys ok, when I attempt to use the image restore program on the G4 cd which will open the .img file that comes with the cd just fine, it will not restore my image due to an outdated or missing checksum...it almost seems that the restore image file that came with the cd has it's checksum value in the preferences and that is the value that the restore program uses. Has anyone had this problem before???
