I have a linksys router and my roommate just got a airport base station. I've got everyone hooked up to the internet no problems but now the iBook has taken over as the master browser and I want to disable the masterbrowser in the macintosh. If there is no way I would have to force Windows XP to become the master browser and I know it sounds funny...but I do NOT want to do that...last time it just caused major problems...anyways. I want to be able to disable the master browser and I'm a PC person not a mac so if you could give detailed instructions on how to disable the master browser...thanks.

I might be wrong on this?,but from what I
understand???,all you have to do is take
the pc's ethernet plug and swap it with
the mac that acting as host.(windows
should relize it's hosting and os should
relize it isn't,the only thing that you should
make sure of is that it's the pc that's
connected to your provider, and not your
romemates mac!
