How do I access my desk top. Currently I shut all my apps down. On My PC I just click on an Icon and I get my desk top. Confused how or where to do this on my mac.

Your desktop is what you see on your monitor when windows are closed.

If your running Mac OS up to 9.X then you click and drag(on the far top right had side of the screen) where it says the title of your app. You will see something called finder in that list, select it. If you want to only see yor desktop than you hold the option key at the same time.

My really problem is that when I put a floppy in that I can not access it through my "finder." What ends up happening is that I have to close all my app.'s down to get to the desk top where it is. Why does floopy not show up in the "finder" but on the desk top?
