Are you using a web based E-mail like hotmail or Yahoo, connecting to your outlook? In that case, you could may have luck that they are still standing in the Thrash on their servers.
If they were archived in a file and you deleted that file, with Norton Utlilites you may find it back. Otherwise your mail is lost forever.

is it possible for someone to break the password of my yahoo mail and scan the emails and read some of them and close the mailbox and leave it in its original shape ie untouched.

Very likely impossible, but you could try contacting Yahoo! support to see if they can do anything with it.
