Does anyone know where I can get/
download/buy the circuit diagrams for the
(B&W G3) 17in. CRT Studio Display ? its
died on me (poor thing) and a technician
has offerd to fix it but requires the
diagrams. I would appreciate your help
since I miss it so ..
In the mean time i'm stuck with a 14in.
monitor @640x480 and i can't take it
anymore!!!

This model usually has two parts that go out.
1)The power switch does light up but no picture then the Flyback transformer is bad.
2)If the power switch does not light up at all, then the +5v stand-by power supply is dead.
Which symtom do you have?

Thanks for taking the time Bud!
The symptoms are that I get no picture
and the power switch blinks from green to
amber. Even if I disconnect the video
cable the power switch still blinks.
I spoke to a tech from an apple store and
he said that it meant that theres no input
whatsoever. The problem is that they
offered to fix it for a price just below the
cost of a new monitor! So I have to look
for an alrternative.

I have the same problem. The flyback
trafo is bust they told me. My screen
blinks after long usage. Did you get a
hand on that cicuit diagram. I'd like to
have it too.
