g3 with 2 HD's OS X on one and 9.2 on other.
I was trying to back up OS X and after it
completed, nothing works. First I get the
chime, then a whitish screen with "unknown
word_" at the top. I tried rebooting from CD,
the 9.2 drive etc and still get same message.
I tried resetting the pramm and the
motherboard switch - still dead. I even took
the OS X drive out and still get the same
message. I been at this Mac thing for a while
and this is the worst I've been able to break

Boot while holding cmd-option-O-F.

When you get a prompt, type "reset-nvram" (no quotes) followed by "reset-all" (no quotes).

This should fix it; if not, or if you don't get a prompt, it's time to call your Apple service centre.
