hello,
I have a 950 quadra with a bad floppy disk and I want to create a bootable CD for OS 7.5. The hard drive crashed after using it for a little while. I have a scsi cdrom hooked up to it and I have another harddrive.
Can someone help me create a bootable Cd so that I can put the Mac Os on to the new hard drive.
thanks,
chris

You need a CD burner to create a bootable CD, preferably on a Macintosh (though a Windoze box will work in a pinch).

Easier to BUY a system 8 CD.
Ebay, or ($50-$60) on poweron.com.

Email me if you want one. I have one I
would be willing to part with for a few
bucks.
