Converting Old Mac Files

Does anyone know how I can get text files from an old apple mac II onto a PC? the mac is not on the net!

Is it an Apple ][ or a Mac II? If it's a Mac II, you can get a program like TransMac that will let you read and write Mac floppies so you can at least copy the data to your PC. Likely problem: your PC can't read Mac-formatted 800K disks no matter what, unless you get a floppy drive specifically for this purpose. They're rare and long-discontinued, so don't hold out too much hope for this option.
The best solution would be to get a newer Mac that can read and write 1.4MB floppies and move the data to that Mac, from which you can move it to the PC with ease.
