What is the best/fastest way to convert my music
CDs into MP3 format for use in iTunes or for
creating album folders that I can load into a non-
iPod hard drive based MP3 player such as
Archos. I have done this with iTunes, but it seems
so slow! I also have Toast Titanium 5.2. Is there a
better way, or better software, to rip my music CDs
into MP3 format. I've got 2,500 jazz CD albums to
do...HELP!

FYI, I run OS X ver. 10.2.3 on a new iMac
PowerMac G4 and also have an external Que Fire
CR/RW drive.

Thanks.

iTunes is probably the easiest way, but something like n2mp3 might give better quality. Search on MacUpdate.com for "mp3" and you'll find plenty.
