SIT files are files that have been compressed with some flavour of Stuffit, a Mac standard compression utility made by Aladdin Systems.
They make a freeware expander for Windows (& Mac) that is available from http://www.aladdinsys.com/expander/expander_win_login.html
It documents support for 95/98/NT4, but it'll probably work with 2000.
Hope this helps,
Jonathan

I found the free converter. This will expand the compressed fiels but you still have the problem of opening them unless they are gif or jpg format!! go to: http://www.aladdinsys.com/expander/expander_win.html
