I'm a PC Tech who just had his first dealings with a Mac and fear I've blown it. Any pointers would be a Godsend (and this from an agnostic!). I've moved a mix of files created on a Mac G4/OS-8.6 onto a USB hard drive then taken that data to another, distant site where I, achem, assumed it would be possible to locate a utility to convert the files: strip the Mac embedded filestuff & append the appropriate Wintel file extension. But I can locate no such handy dandy tool. Anybody know how to achieve this conversion once the files are inside a MS environment? I have all flavors of Wintendo at my disposal. The most valuable files were created on the Mac by Outlook Express 4.5. I grabbed the whole OE folder off the Mac. Frustratingly, that 4.5 version of OE had no message export tool. Thanks folks!!
