I am trying to write a shell script that when someone Control-clicks on an .AVI there is an option like Convert to Quicktime...I have dont this in Windows but I am trying to port it to Mac. I have the converting part...its command line that as of now I have put in as an Automator Program.

What I need is how to get the full path from a file when someone Control-clicks on a file...in Windows it is:
set filename=%~f1 then you call it by
%filename%

How would you go about putting a Convert to QT on a right-click..on Windows you go to the registry...what do you do for Mac?
