I currently use windows but I am considering switching to an Ibook. the most important program i have is symantec Act, a contact manager. Does anyone know a replacement for this program that i can use on a mac. It has to have very accessable contact history info since I use it to manage a list of customers and need to know my history with them. Programs like ms outlook can record historys but you have to go digging for them.
Thanks

The first thing I would to is go to the Symantic
website to see if they make a version of your
program for the mac. If not, you can check out
http://www.apple.com/macosx/ to see if Apple has
any information on a program like that.By the way, switching to Mac is the best computer-
related decision you will ever make! I recently
made the switch myself, and I've never been
happier!%00

There is an excellent product called DayLite which a Mac-only contact/customer relationship management program. It runs on the OpenBase database server engine (included with the cost) and has the ability to import data from Act!. The price for a single user version is $149.00 US. Five and 10 user pricing is also available. I've just recently become an authorized reseller for the product. You can contact me at www.oakbridge.ca/crm/inquiry.taf or visit the developer's site at www.marketcircle.com for more information.
