Hello Mac folk.
Quick q as I do not have the manual for the printer. Can I connect the above direct to a netgear router ethernet port and share it amongst the other computers on the router? Or do I need to add a printserver or a hub or something else?
Just used the ethernet port on the Iboook for the netgear router.
If anyone can point me to a good site or let me know.

I can expand on the above.
The Laserwriter was connected to the imac's ethernet port via an 'AsanteTalk' Ethernet to Localtalk adapter (http://www.asante.com/products/adapters/asantetalk/). This bridged the gap between the printers seriel connection and the imac's ethernet connection. I have now used the ethernet connection for connecting to a wireless router. So, my q is, can I connect to the router from the asnatetalk box and be able to print on the lasrwriter? of do I need to configure it another way?
