I want to share my internet connection (dsl) with 2 macs and my pc. I have all the hardware but I need to know what software to use to link the 3 together via tcp/ip (something that can be run on both os's)

I used WinProxy and SyGate for a while and both gave adequate results. I preferred SyGate. I think both can still be downloaded for evalulation. I installed the router software (WinProxy/SyGate) on a Windows machine (you'll need two ethernet cards in the machine) then followed the instructions that came with the software to connect one other Windows machine and 3 Macs (two PPCs and a 68040, running OS 8.5 and OS 9.0). It really was fairly simple. I am now using a dedicated router, LynkSys. It appears a bit faster.
