I have a PC running Windows XP Home and a G4 running OS X 10.3.1. I have set it it up so that files can be shared between the two but I need to know how can I access the internet on my Mac through the PC.

Broadband/DSL or are you using a dial up? If Broadband/ DSL, get a router. Dial up, I don't have a clue. I don't think that it is possible. You might be able to make the Mac the connection machine and share the connection with the windows machine. It is really tricky just trying to share a windows connection with another windows machine. M$ did not make it easy. Cheers

i used to do this on dial up when i had win98.. i used a proxy server by AnalogX called Proxy.. run it on the pc then go into the browser on the mac & point it to the IP address that the pc has been assigned on your LAN.. worked great.. since upgrading to XP i haved tried it again...

i run the internet connection wizard on XP and turned on internet connection sharing. I then changed my Macs' TCP/IP configuration to obtaining IP Address using DHCP and not can surf away and connect to work using VPN.
