OS: Tiger 10.4
CPU/Ram: 512

After reinstallation of Tiger I am not able to load computer after restarting. Installation went well and I didn't face any problem. Tried to update security patches but after downloading it said computer was unable to download any update and asked me to restart in any case. I restarted, and now the machine will not boot at all -- well, I get the initial apple logo screen, but then it goes on and never actually loads, I am just getting the spinning circle at all. Even I can't open DVD Rom drive.
Thanks
Ovais

I have had exactly this problem with my G5, I recently updated to OSX 10.3.8 from 10.3.5 in order to run sims 2 and now I cannot get my imac to do anything more than the start up noise and a white screen with the spinning circle. After ten minutes the fans kick in. Nothing except the option key whilst turning on seems to have any effect, but even that is short lived! Please help!
