looking to buy a mac. can anyone tell me if this is a good deal? i have no idea and have given up on pc's. i am a graphics guy so i might also need to know if this machine can handle a lot of graphics programs. thanks.
This is what I can get for $850:

too much dinero. MACs in general are more expensive
but if your willing to put in a littl emore xtra dough you
can at leats get a Daul G4.

If your looking for cost effective, ALWAYS get the last
model they make right befroe they come out with a newer
prodyct.

In my case; when the G5s came out, I got the latest Dual
1.42 G4, 512mb RAM, 80GB HD for around $1000. But
that was 2-3 years ago.

So I'd say your "deal" is a bit out to date.
