Comment: Problems with Macs networking with Windows Server 2003. I'll get right to the issue. I can't see files on my network that the Mac that created them can. i.e. Mac #1 creates file, saves to server for Mac #2 to see and modify. #2 does NOT see this file. If I connect the #2 to the server via CIFS:// the files are visible, but not accessible. The file will not open. I can access the file, copy it, rename it and everything on the PC side of things but the Mac side is messed. Any advice from anyone? Thanks!

Reply: (edit)My main suggestion would be make sure you are logging in to the Windows server from each Mac as the same User or User Group with permissions dictated by the Server.
