Hi. I recently purchased an Imac for my wife. It came equipped with a CD-RW drive.(os 9.2) I have a Compaq PC in which I purchased an Iomega Preditor USB CD-RW drive. It came with the standard adaptec/roxio Easy CD Creator and DirectCD. I have tried to record some data from my Compaq and load it onto the Imac.i.e. Files from AOL that contain her favorites and...I also downloaded SOL.exe from bearshare. I have I have tried using both CD-R and CD-RW disks and tried DirectCD and EasyCreator methods of recording. I even downloaded CD anywhere which is supposed to convert files so it can be read by PC and Mac. But everytime I try putting the disk in the Imac it tells me disk is unreadable. Is there another program I should be trying? Does it simply not allow it? We are both BRAND NEW to Mac. Please help. What format and what programs can I use?

Using any CD write application: If you can write in ISO-9660 format you will be able to read it on the mac. Any PC applications (.exe and the like) will NOT work AT ALL on the mac so don;t waste your time.
