CDR burning

Comment:
Is it possible to write to a CDR on more than one occassion. (i.e. burn 5 files today. Then burn 3 more tomorrow...) I've tied, but it tells me the CDR can't be altered.
It's so wasteful to only use 6% of a disks capacity, but I don't really want to wait 'til I have 700 MB of stuff I want to save either.

I'm new to the mac community, but on a PC, you just have make sure you are burning in multisession mode (not finalized). If you finalize the disk the first time around, then it will not allow you to burn anything else on there.

Yeah...burn multi session. When your about to burn the cd you should get a message asking you if you want to write the disc or the session.
Summary: Pickles solution is the way to go. also: how much is your time worth? CDRW's generally burn at a very leisurely speed while CDR burns are quick if you have the hardware. CDR's can be had for 26 cents...
