Suddenly I am recieving an error message
whenever I try to burn CDs. Says startup disc is
full.

How do I rectify.

I have a Yamaha Lightspeed2 external burner g4

Have you tried getting rid of some of the junk on your startup disk?

I'd probably start with DeLocalizer and Print Center Repair, utilities for removing unused localisation files and print drivers, respectively.
