When attempting a purchase on Ticketmaster I can't get beyond the captcha screen on my Apple laptop, yet I can on other computers. Basically I type in the captchas, click continue and nothing happens. Reloading the page doesn't work.Presumably it's a problem with my settings but I can't work out how to solve it.
Any ideas welcomed.

So few clues ...
I'll ask you to update your Mac OsX software, choosing
that entry under the Apple menu. Install everything
suggested and repeat, restarting as instructed. Repeat
until your Mac does not find any more upgrades. If your web browser is Apple Safari take the
Preferences entry under the Safari menu, then select
the Security tab. Next to the label "Web content" turn
on all four checkboxes. Enable plug-ins, Java and
JavaScript as well as blocking pop-up windows.Try your web page again,
If this does not work, please reply with what version of
Mac OsX you are using (Apple Menu -> About This
Mac) , what web browser you are using and a Url for
the page you are fighting with.Captcha is a technique, not one specific widget.
Cheers,
Lantz

Thanks for the response.
Unfortunately it didn't work. I had already tried your second
suggestion. The page with the captchas on seems not to load properly,
as in it says it's loading but the word "loading" never goes off
and the pin wheel turns relentlessly in a light grey box. If I
stop it by clicking on the cross and try reloading the page it
asks if I want to send the form again, so I do but the same
thing happens. When I do get the captchas to appear on
the screen I type them and click
continue but nothing happens. If I click the continue button without typing anything it basically tells me I need to enter the captchas and
therefore I am back to the same problem. In the grey area near the bottom of the screen it always says "completed 35 of 36 items".
I've had the laptop only a month or so and it has done
everything else I've wanted it to like a dream. It's version 10.5.8 with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor, I'm using Safari 4.0.3 and a url is:https://www.ticketmaster.com/checkout/reserve/qMCc6kn_y
aBHHRL0NYxQN0DbNLy5d_Jpc3dt_W75X7zXwn2vEjZmTp
7YYeagFvOsI've also tried resetting Safari and emptying cache.
It's very frustrating!
Thanks again,
Stephen
