Cant send files on mac MSN messenge

Hi, i was wondering if anyone can help fix a lil problem. I downladed the most recent MSN messenger for the MAC. Everything is all ok except I cant SEND any files to other users. I can recieve them, but cant send them. It says;
"We could not send this file because the connection is blocked. Please contact your network administrator or Internet service provider; they may be able to enable file transfers"
I am connected wirelessly to a router. I have chcked the router settings and checked the firewall settings for it, and it is set to allow all outbound. So it aint the router. Plus it works fine on my pc that is connected to the router.
How is this fixed? Im pretty cert it has something to do with the settings on the mac. Im pretty new to macs, so please if you can explain in detail how to fix.
