I get a lot of .pps files and can't open them. When I try to open, computer says that I start to download ... and apparently I need a plug in. When Netscape searches a plug in, there is never one found. I have a Power Macintosh G3 and I do have microsoft power point on my computer. How can I view these files ?????

What is a '.pps' file?

Maybe you mean '.ppt' files (MS
Powerpoint)? And I don't think netscape
can view a powerpoint file via a 'plug-in'.
Just use Powerpoint to open them.

a PPS file in the world of PCs is a PowerPoint Show file which is a self-playing presentation.

Aha! Probably needs PowerPoint to view, then, because I'm about 99% sure runtime versions of PowerPoint don't work on the Mac.
