Until recently I have been able to connect with no problems to the internet. I use both OS9.2 and OS X at different times, switching between the two but this never presented me with any problems. The only thing to have been changed is on the server end, running Small Business Server 2000 when we changed from ISDN to Broadband. The only thing is that none of the PCs seem to be having any problems at all connecting. I have went into thte TCP/IP settings in 9.2 and nothing had been changed - the settings are obtained from the DHCP server. Is there anything that any of you think needs to be changed? Very frustrating as keep having to use another computer to access the net.
Also,
I get all my emails delivered to me in my email application from Exchange so I am able to connect to the server. This problem happens with both IE and Safari so it isnt just IE. I also put in the preferences the address of our proxy server but this still doesnt seem to work. Thanks in advance

Also have a similar problem to you, although ours is an ISDN connection and we are unable to gain access to the internet, this isnt through an upgrade as in your case but just a new network. As seen as we are upgrading to broadband this month and i manage to gain access to the net i will give you any setting si have changed, would appreciate the same in return.

Hi ch4ncy,
just got connected to the internet again. What I had
to do was carry out an'Archive and Install' ,from my
original OS X installation CDs, to get my Apple Mac
back to OS X 10.2. I was then able to access the
internet with no problems and then used the
'Software Update' utility to update my computer
again. Hope this helps
