Hi
I lost (POP) Mac mail App access on the send
( SMTP ) side
It used to work but does not work on any of my macs - -
I cannot send out mail from the MAC MAIL app

I do have access to the Internet i.e. I can update using software update, I can access internet web pages with firefox or safari

I used to be able to access Yahoo pop mail till june using My mail application
now I cannot - its the only thing broke on all my macs

all other apps seem to go to the outside internet and are downloadable

I did install a few proxy servers, and I wonder if they modified my mail settings

Is there a basic set of settings for all things like DNS servers like a set of four addresses like 169.168.2.1 or whatever --- how do I find my settings??
or is it a common set for all
is port 110 for the normal mail, and 25 for smtp -- do you use SSL ??

is there a web page which takes you through all chgable settings so I can check them all - Thank you !!
