Canon BJC 50 driver

I have a Mac PowerBook G3 running OS 8.6 I also have a canon BJC 50 printer which is a great little portable parallel printer. I am wondering if there is a driver that will allow my Powerbook to print on the BJC 59 via the infrared port. I lined them up and the computer recognizes the printer but I need a driver.

I use a BJC 85 printer... is the infrared driver to be used with the above models compatible with this one? would appreciate a reply. God bless!
Summary: Is there a Macintosh version of Canon BJC 5000 printer driver? or other universal driver for using Canon BJC printers with a Mac. I did not see either one on Canon's homepage....
