HI all, A friend of mine bought a brand new mac ox 10.5. He created an account and a password. When he is logging in the next day, he could not figure out his password. Is there another way to log in to his account? If not, can you create another account and another password? I am totally ignorant with Mac, sorry.

You can reset the password from the install DVD that came with the machine. Boot from it and the screen after the language screen will have a "Utilities" heading in the menu bar at the top. One of the selections under that is reset password.
