I have a PowerMac G4.
I wanted to use 10.3 and saw disks on sale on ebay - a couple seller's each with a number of auctions had info in their ads claiming these would install on any G3/G4/G5.
I received 10.3.5 DVDs labeled Power Mac G5.
(Yes - I have DVD drive.)
I tried to install both with 10.2.8 running and after wiping the drive - everytime I end up with message saying "cannot install bundled software" then a blue screen with a clock-like wheel.

Is there a workaround to get 10.3 to install?

Apple ships machine specific systems with machines now.
They stopped it when OS X came out, but are now doing
it. Those disks won't install on your machine.
