Can not print Acrobat files

How can I get my Mac G4 to print downloaded Acrobat Reader files on my HP 970 printer? When I try to print an Acrobat Reader 5.1 file, the printer spits out blank pages, and the following message appears on the monitor: "A drawing error occurred which is probably due to out-of-memory condition. Try quitting other programs." But only Internet Explorer is running which was the source of the downloaded Acrobat file. The suggested Acrobat Reader memory size is 17,755K, but I have it set to 30,467K. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Art

Hey Art It may be that your printer page set up is not set for the same spreds that the PDF is. Try changing your page size in page and priter set ups to a larger size.
ALSO you can often open PDF files in other applications like Adobe Illistrator, photoshop etc. Then print from those apps. Drag the files to the desk top and drag onto other Application Icons to see if the PDF will open, then try to print.
