Wait until new ones come out. Then you can read rumours about the next great revision, and wait until those come out, because you'd hate to be behind the curve. When those come out, there will be rumours of the Next Big Thing in PowerBooks(tm), so you shouldn't buy then either, because if you do, your fancy new TiBook will be obsolete by the time you get it.
So basically you should never buy a new computer, because you'll always be three months from being nearly obsolete.
Or you could do the reasonable thing and buy as much computer as you can afford at the time you *need* it.

I agree. Years ago I waited, and waited. The newer faster sexier mac was just over the horizon and I waited and waited. I got sick of it and broke the cycle. The day the 8500/120 became avail for orders I ordered mine, and I did not regret it. Same with the G4. Day it opened for orders I ordered mine. That's the cycle you can get into.
