Hi, is there a way to use FTP without having to install any extra software? e.g. in windows, there is the FTP function in the command prompt... please enlighten me :) Thanks.

Yes there is a built in FTP in OS X. Go to the finder and go
to Go at the top and then to Connect to server... then put
in ftp://(YOURFTP).com. Then it will prompt you for
authentication. Hope this helps
