Currently, my office is using Mac OSX vers 10.3 Panther,
with Quicktime 6.5 and Quicktime Broadcaster.I already have a website set up, and the web host supports
live streaming.
I ve search through the websites for info, and it seems
that broacasting through Quicktime requires QTSS, which
is used in Mac OSX server. What i would like to know is that how can I create a live
broadcast from the current software that i have into the
web without needing to purchase and/or install any other
software? I would appreciate too if there is a detailed
response including the whole process of making the live
broadcast.

with the current software i'm not sure. But without
'paying' for something, check into VLC, which is free and
has broadcast server included. I know you said you don't
want to install anything, but this software is VERY good
and FREE.
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/as far as a 'detailed' setup i would need to know your
setup. i.e. where is the stream coming from (webcam, file
off of your computer, capture from TV, etc..) It's probably
better for you to read up and do it yourself (it took me
less than 2 hours to get a feed up and running) so you
know the ins and outs.... But basically you set your
machine as the broadcast server, specify where you want
to broadcast to (specific IP address, webaddress, etc).
Then let VLC do the rest of the work... Check it out, really
great software and again it's FREE!!!Mobile:
