Comment: I have difficulty booting up computer without disconnecting power supply cord and then reseting computer. could it be that the clock battery is too low, and if so. where is the clock battery? I have a Mac powerBook G3 (lap top). The computer will not boot up in the normal way (power button/etc.) Any suggestions? Help! cc You think computers are hard to understand try building a sail boat with out plans.

Reply: (edit)It is very possible that your clock battery is dead but computers usually work while they are broken anyway. ftp://download02.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/ Misc/Service/servicemanuals/powerbook_g3_series.pdf ftp://download02.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/ Misc/Service/servicemanuals/pb_g3_series_bronze.pdf ftp://download02.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/ Misc/Service/servicemanuals/powerbook_fw.pdf ftp://download02.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/ Misc/Service/servicemanuals/dvd.pdf You may want to try the links to service manuals for the Mac PowerBook G3, you only need to read the one which is for your particular PowerBook G3 model.
