Hey,
Im goin to sound a bit dim here but, ive just brought a copy of DIscWarrior for my powerbook . I need to boot the disc but i cant get it workin. I know that you press and hold the c button on the powerbook from startin the computer, but it dosnt work. Any advise for this simpleton
Try this. Boot the computer normally then insert the CD into the optical drive. Once it appears on the desktop launch System Preferences by either clicking it in the dock or selecting it from the Apple menu in the top left corner. Once there select the Startup Disk. This should scan your system and display any bootable directories. You can then select the DiskWarrior CD icon and then select "restart".
If that doesn't work reboot the computer and from the moment the screen goes dark hold the "option" key until you see a blue screen. This will also scan all available volumes to boot from. Wait for the hourglass icon to go away, click on the DiskWarrior CD square and then proceed by clicking the arrow pointing right.
