They're compressed (stuffed). Go to -
http://www.aladdinsys.com/downloads/in
dex.html
and download the free version of
Expander to unstuff the file.

ITs an image file compressed like teh fella above said, i use Daemon-tools to open mine from daemon-tools.com i dont know if its mac compatible tho


How do u open .SMI.BIN files in Win Can't extract .BIN files cannot open .bin or.hqx files .bin floppy files for laserwriter running a .bin file, asap.res error msg	Temp. save mac files on pc burn file with xp that imac can use dmg files what do i do using file buddy to use .smi file freezes when trying to open file
