My mac screen turns black and will not do anything when I try to access any programs. So I was going to format the Hard drive and reinstall Mac osX but everytime, It gets almost finished installing, It gets an error. Something like it couldnt write a file....Any help here? I know very little about macs

Hey Stormclouds777,

If the three seven's in your name is how you set your permissions (Read, Write, and Execute enabled for everyone), then it's little wonder that you're having problems with a system built on Unix. Sorry, just kidding. Ditto what the last guy said: Sounds like you got problems. :P
