I'm looking for a card which will perform the best on a G4 exclusively for Adobe Photoshop. Will not be playing any sort of games on this machine. Cost is not a problem. Thanks for your advice.

I think that Matrox g550 32Mb (it`s well known for best 2D use at high monitor resolutions) is the answer to your problem. It also fully compatible with Apple products + Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere. Good luck
