I'm *still* shocked....floored..
Since the new Macs will be able to run Windows natively, how many Macs do you think might be running XP or Longhorn instead of MacOSX in a few years..
And since the XBox 360 will be able to run an OS, how many folks will install MacOSX on their XBox 360s...

but for some the mac interface is all they need.

scence the new macs ar just pc's, us using our powerful pentiums and athlons could just dual boot the mac os, windows, and linux!

Sounds like David Strom has not gotten over the shock and awe. I have seen different statistics about Apple's slice of IBM's business, but it is still in the single digits.
After using PCs for 15 years and an iMac for 15 weeks, I would personally be interesting to see them both run natively on the same machine if it is even possible.

I heard (Michael?) Dell would rather sell OS X than Windows.

Should Microsoft be scared? I have never heard the phrase 'more bugs than an anthill' used to describe anybody elses OS for so long.
