Battery won't recharge

Hi, I have a PowerBook G3 and somehow the lithium battery don't seem to recharge anymore. The lightning icon no longer appear on the power bar. Here's what I have done so far:
- The battery is already in energy conservation mode. -I checked the connection on the adapters and make sure it's plugged in properly. -The battery indicator light is on, so the battery is not dead. -ZAPPed the PRAM.
Summary: ok so my imac won't boot from a disk or any other way. i've changed the pram battery, zapped the pram, reset the cuda, and did a little dance and still nothing!!! anybody got any ideas? upon startup,...
