Bad Disc??

I insert my disc and can here it winding but no icon
comes up for it. When I go to "verify" it using disc
utility
it fails saying "invalid b-tree node size, volume check
failed. No visible scartches are on disc. Other disc
inserted are working fine. I really the info
off the disc. It is very important so if anyone has any
suggestions, please help me.

have you tried to open that disc on another computer?

No I don't have access to another computer. But if you think
that might work I could certaintly try to find one.

what kind of disc is it? OS install DVD? App install DVD? Manufactured or Burned? But if disc utility can **see** it you can make an image of it then mount that image and copy the files you need of the mounted image. IF it won't mount properly or disc utility can't *see* it or can't verify, it's a coaster. Put a drink on it. That data is lost.
